The SEXIEST Way to Drink Champagne this Holiday: The French 75

I’ve gotta say… the best way to indulge in a couple drinks without looking like a lush is to sip on champagne. It makes you look classy AF (think, Heather Dubrow. Champs anyone??).

But sometimes, you want the champagne but you need the buzz… back to Christmas party season… alcohol is usually a necessity. Not everyone is lucky enough to actually enjoy their coworkers, the boyfriends friends, or their family. Sometimes you need something more EFFICIENT than champagne or a glass of wine to put up with an evening of people you couldn’t care less to be around.

Aaaand sometimes you simply just want a delicious cocktail..

This is where a French 75 comes in….

Dainty. Elegant. Sophisticated. Think 1920’s. Casablanca.

The delight and bubbles of champagne with an extra kick! (And sans any sugar-y juice you’d have in a mimosa) Not to mention, you’ll look like such a  lady with one of these in hand (fake it till you make it?) It’s light, refreshing, and totally appropriate for a swanky Christmas party, wearing a gown and your new red lipstick.

French 75


It’s the holidays, you’ve got places to be, people to see, shit to do.

Let’s get you sipping on one of these…

French 75

Ingredients
1.5 oz gin
Juice of half a lemon
1/2 – 1oz simple syrup
Champagne

In a martini shaker, add ice, gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well!! Strain into champagne glass and top with champagne!


See! A super simple and elegant twist on an already classy drink.

Tip: If you’re hosting a Christmas/New years party, keep a mix of the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup ready to pour and eliminate some of the time it takes to make this cocktail so you can get to back enjoying your fabulous party!
