Happy Monday!

I hope everyone is feeling as rejuvenated as I am from the weekend. I’ve been trying to get my health, my routine, and my……. like, everything, back in check after the craziness that was summer. Here’s what this is looking like so far:

Kick Your Meal Prep Up A Notch

Meal prepping should be so much more than grilling a chicken breast and roasting some veggies. So you have lunch for tomorrow, great start. But what about the following days… are you maybe working late tomorrow and plan on grabbing something in a pinch? What if you get hungry mid afternoon. Are you making sure you have something on hand to avoid grabbing a pumpkin scone with your coffee?

And the extras! What kind of sauce are you putting on your wrap? What kind of dressing are you tossing on your salad!?

I’m not trying to intimidate you and make you think you need to spend 9 hrs prepping for the week. I like to keep things simple and efficient! But listen, it’s those LITTLE THINGS like cutting out the chemical filled salad dressings and the drive-thru snacks that can really start to add up.

I spoke a little more about what goes into salad dressings here. Go give it a read! And trust me, you won’t mind spending 5 minutes making a dressing to throw on your salad.

Plus, this spicy lemon tahini salad dressing is just delicious.

Spicy Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing

 

Spicy Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing

1/4 cup tahini
Juice from 2 lemons 
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp cayenne 
1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup or agave)
Sprinkle salt (I like pink Himalayan) and pepepr
1/4 cup water

Mix all ingredients except the water,  in a bowl. Add water and whisk until smooth!

I love this on a salad with chickpeas and cauliflower. And of course… I’ll be sharing that recipe with you guys soon!

  • Ingredients (1 serving): 	•	2 oz blanco tequila 	•	1 oz guava nectar (like Goya or Ceres) 	•	1 oz fresh lime juice 	•	¾ oz Cointreau or triple sec 	•	½ oz agave syrup (or to taste) 	•	2–3 slices fresh jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat) 	•	Tajin or chili-lime salt, for rim 	•	Ice  Optional garnish: 	•	Lime wedge 	•	Guava slice 	•	Jalapeño round  Instructions: 1.
