POP The Champagne Early to Put Up With Your Family All Day: Fall-spice Mimosa

Fall-spice Mimosa

You didn’t think I was gonna give you a week of Thanksgiving/Fall inspired recipes without at least one cocktail did you?

I was just saving the best for last…. Well, it’s really a close one between this mimosa and the pumpkin pie…. but this one has booze so… ya know…

Well, if you’re spending this Sunday at your folks place… or cooking all day…or hell, even if you’re alone and could use a little fall inspired pick me up, this is mimosa will give you all the fall feels without a ton of added sugar.

I’ve never really been a baileys and coffee kind of girl to be totally honest… it’s just too heavy for me. I like to go the mimosa route

TIP: When ordering a mimosa at a restaurant ask for the oj on the side. None of that half & half bullshit. Just a splash of juice. What’s the point of champagne if you can’t taste it?

This Fall-Spice Mimosa leaves you with the taste of your favourite champagne and just a light touch of cozy fall flavours.

(nothing like going to edit your photos and realizing you left all the stickers on the bottoms of the champaign glasses. DETAILS)

okay so this is pretty straight forward.

Fall-Spice Mimosa Ingredients

Organic (no added sugar!!) apple juice
All-Spice
Champagne

Instructions: In a martini shaker, combine about 1.5 cups of apple juice and a teaspoon of all-spice. Shake well! Fill your champagne glass with the champagne leaving just enough room for about 1-2 oz of the apple-all-spice mixture.

How easy is that? And now your juice is prepared for a second, third, or however many mimosa’s you’re going to need until it’s socially acceptable to open the bottle of red wine.

… I’m not here to judge.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Eat, drink and be cozy!
